Dr. Gustavo Demarco, a Lead Economist and Global Pensions Lead at the World Bank, has joined the training faculty at MenaMoney Academy.

Gustavo has led World Bank’s operations and policy dialogue on tens of Pensions, Social Protection, and Labor projects across Middle Eastern and North African countries for 20 years, including the Saudi Arabia Engagement for Pensions Reform and Aging most recently.

Before joining the World Bank, he served as Director of Operations and Planning at the Pension Supervision Authority of Argentina.

He graduated as an economist from the University of Córdoba (Argentina) and followed with postgraduate studies in Chile.

He is an economist specialised in Pensions, Social Insurance, Aging and Disability with 15 years in academia and more than 20 years at The World Bank.

Gustavo has consistently been speaking in the annual Arab Pension & Social Insurance Conference organized by MenaMoney Forums.
